These conferences and expos are a great way to gain vital knowledge to excel in your business. It’s great for startups to meet investors and get the capital needed to succeed.

1. Startup Grind Global Conference

Investors and startups meet at this conference for networking opportunities. There are over 40 keynote sessions as well as fireside chats between inspirational business owners and leaders. In 2018, there are leaders like James Park of Fitbit, Guy Kawasaki of Canva and Adi Tatarko of Houzz scheduled to appear. Those are just 3 of the 44 people attending and speaking at the conference. This expo was organized by Social Media Examiner. The conference has everything from networking events to speakers to workshops. There are tracks in which an attendee can participate. There’s the social tactics tracks where entrepreneurs can learn how to market their business on social media with specific, actionable tips they can put into action immediately. Other tracks include measurement and analytics, social strategy, content marketing and corporate social track. The conference will take place in San Diego on February 28 through March 2, 2018.

3. The Small Business Expo

This expo is where entrepreneurs, business owners and startups meet with potential investors, customers and clients. It’s called the largest business-to-business event for networking and getting exposure for your business. There are over 25 workshops and seminars as well as speed networking and a business card exchange. There are a number of small business expos each year across the United States. The east coast will see the expo in Boston, Washington D.C., New York and all the way down in Miami. Most businesses will have a chance to experience the expo in a city near them.

4. MozCon

There are plenty of opportunities to network with leaders in companies like Hubspot, Etsy, Unbounce, Google, Microsoft, DICK’S Sporting Goods and Moz itself. The seminars and speakers include information on topics like how to get links to important media outlets like The Wall Street Journal for your business. It’s 3 days of speakers with nights filled with networking. Instead of standing around exchanging business cards, attendees are encouraged to enjoy billiard, karaoke or bowling with their fellow attendees. MOzCon will be held in Seattle from July 9th through the 11th.  

5. eWomenNetwork Entrepreneur Conference and Expo

The exhibitors at this expo include successful, women-owned businesses. From jewelry to beauty to coaching and wellness, there will be plenty of businesses talking about their services. At the conference, entrepreneurs will get insights into Facebook marketing through business pages, how to boost posts and when to do that effectively. There is more marketing knowledge to be gained at the conference like how to create and boost yourself as a celebrity brand and how to sell using social media. The conference and expo is in Dallas, Texas on July 12 through July 14.

It’s important for entrepreneurs to experience expos designed specifically for them. There are B2B opportunities as well as sponsorship and angel investors that an entrepreneur could meet at a conference.
